Buildplace is the first browser-based platform that combines geodata, inventory information and planning tools in a digital twin, thereby massively accelerating planning, development and acquisition processes for housing industries and municipalities.

Description
Buildplace is the first browser-based platform to combine geodata, inventory information, and planning tools in a seamless digital twin. The platform combines 3D building models at Level of Detail 2 (LoD 2) with parcel data from the official land register (ALKIS) and additionally enables the integration of further geodata via WFS/WMS interfaces as well as the uploading of existing building data. This creates, for the first time, a consistent, scalable, and data-driven foundation for evaluating real estate portfolios, managing development processes, and identifying residential building potential – without any media breaks between planning, inventory, and analysis.
Problem solving
What makes Buildplace special is the radical simplification of highly complex, previously fragmented planning and analysis processes. Different data sources, tools, and stakeholders are brought together in a shared work environment. This allows teams to work collaboratively, create planning scenarios in real time, and immediately visualize their impact. Changes are calculated and displayed directly in the digital twin – reducing planning and decision-making processes from weeks to just a few minutes.
The result is a transparent, robust, and visually comprehensible decision-making basis for municipalities, housing companies, and project developers. Buildplace thus becomes the central control platform for early spatial planning and is therefore not just a tool, but the operating system for data-driven urban and existing building development.
