First virtual pitch event – BDBau launches a new event series

The digitalization of the construction and skilled trades industries requires new spaces for exchange, networking, and the presentation of ideas. A virtual presentation format is one way in which the... German Association for Digital Construction (BDBau) The BDBau (German Construction Industry Association) is addressing this challenge by offering startups and technology providers the opportunity to present digital solutions for the construction industry in a compact, virtual setting. With this new format, the BDBau is creating a platform where innovative solutions can be showcased and potential collaboration opportunities between technology providers and construction professionals can be highlighted. The goal of the pitch event is to showcase innovations and promote professional exchange on digital approaches within the industry. Alongside this event format, the BDBau is thus underscoring its role as a driving force for digitalization and innovation in the construction sector. 

The event will take place online and marks the beginning of a series of planned pitch formats that will target different sectors of the construction industry in the future. Events specifically focused on [missing information] are already in preparation. architectural firms as well as on larger construction companies are tailored to individual needs. The technical basis for this – via Microsoft Teams – enables easy participation from the office, company premises, or home office. The first pitch event for trades businesses kicks off on October 13th. After a brief welcome, seven startups will present their solutions, showcasing various innovations for the construction and trades sectors. Each startup will have three minutes to demonstrate how modern tools in time tracking, digital delivery notes, and trades software can offer greater efficiency to the trades.
