Marco Thiess is a trained concrete and reinforced concrete construction worker and holds a degree in architecture (Dipl.-Ing. (FH)). After completing his studies, he began a trainee program at Schüco International KG. Following several international assignments (including London and Mumbai), he became a member of the Digital Board of Schüco International KG. From 2019 to 2021, Marco Thiess was also Co-Founder and CEO of the open innovation platform BEYONDBRICKS, which organizes events such as TECH IN CONSTRUCTION, TICx, and the Handwerkscamp (Crafts Camp). Together with his co-founder and COO, Roland Riethmüller, he promoted the digitalization and networking of the construction industry, extending far beyond events. He has been working for the Fischer Group since 2022.
