oculai is a solution for camera-based data collection on construction sites. Using intelligent computer vision algorithms, data on resource utilization, construction performance, and construction progress are extracted from images. This automates time-consuming documentation and allows for the early detection of productivity deficits in individual processes. The data is presented to the user via an interactive dashboard or imported into an existing BIM model.
Problem solving
Manual reporting and documentation of the status quo of a construction project incurs significant costs for construction companies. Site managers spend 3 hours and 21 minutes per day driving, documenting, and reporting the current project status. This results in €2,860,000 in documentation costs per year for the average construction company in our target group in Germany. The reduced documentation and communication effort, combined with the productivity analysis of individual processes provided by oculai, offers construction companies considerable savings potential. Therefore, using oculai can lead to a reduction of approximately 9 hours and 48 minutes of documentation and reporting time per week, resulting in savings of €30,600 per site manager per year.
